“ We were traveling with family – 2 adults and 2 children. As soon as I booked the place, Emma immediately reached out to me with instructions how to get there, what to do, where to eat, what cities to visit and even some sentences to learn in Spanish. Highly appreciated and i have not noticed such attention to detail in any other places I have stayed at. We were driving a rental car and this is probably important to get there and explore the surrounding cities. The villa is in a very convenient location and we managed to visit multiple cities during the week we stayed there. Parking was available in the garden. The villa itself is fully equipped with everything one would need in a home away from home. The kitchen, bedrooms, common areas are all well maintained. We used our private terrace for having breakfast, chilled on the shared terrace and spent a few days by the pool while we were not out exploring. Everybody had fun. The internet connection in the villa was good. The areas that surround the villa are wonderful – the views are to the olive trees and mountains and the hosts have poured their heart and soul into making the terraces and everything beautiful and cozy. “We have just had a super week in this wonderful place. Dave and Emma have created an amazing holiday destination with stunning views of olive trees as far as the eye can see from the terraces. The pool was the big attraction for our daughters who spent hours playing in it. We all enjoyed watching the sun go down from the terrace overlooking the pool. We enjoyed a few day trips out – the highlight being our visit to the Alhambra in Granada. What a magical place! We also enjoyed hiring a pedallo with slide at Iznájar one hot afternoon. Mostly though we were happy to enjoy some lazy days by the pool taking in the stunning view. It is the perfect place to rest and relax and at under an hours drive from Malaga airport it is quick and easy to enjoy this slice of heaven after flying in. Our apartment was beautifully decorated and the beds were very comfortable! We all slept so well! The kitchen has everything you need and we chose to do a mix of cooking for ourselves and eating out. Dave and Emma are friendly and helpful when required whilst also completely respected our space and allowed us to have a very relaxing family holiday. They are very considerate and thoughtful too – the bottles of wine in the welcome hamper were much appreciated when we arrived late Saturday evening! We can not recommend this place highly enough!”

“Just returned from a fabulous week at this amazing farmhouse. After flying into Granada we picked up the car and made our way following brilliant and easy directions from the owners. Our apartment was a modern, clean and beautifully presented 2 bed apartment. Fresh bedding and towels were provided and also the welcome pack is invaluable if you arrive late at night with tea, coffee, milk, eggs, bread, wine and beers. The pool area is big in size and immaculate with enough loungers for the 2 apartments. The surrounding landscapes are lovely and complement the breathtaking views of the olive groves and surrounding countryside. As there are 2 apartments we shared the pool area with a lovely Belgian family and on the days they were out we effectively had the pool to ourselves. The closest village is Trabuco where you get all your groceries and fresh bread. There is also a good selection if bars and restaurants to choose from. I would recommend going to see the wolves at Lobo Park and also the lake and beach at Iznajar. The owners of the farmhouse Emma and Dave couldn’t have been more welcoming and nothing was too much trouble during our stay. “We stayed for 7 days at this magnificent property. Very warm welcome on arrival. The apartment is very functionally decorated with a lot of charm. the view from the terrace is spectacular. And when night falls the property is fully illuminated and the place becomes magical. Everything is there for a peaceful stay in touch with nature. Beside, there are beautiful paths around the house to hike or simply to walk and if you are lucky like us you will be able to come across wild animals. The owners are very discreet but always there if you have a question or need something. The property is well located as it is quite central and allows you to visit Malaga, Antequera, Granada. “This place is truly beautiful. On one side you have a view over rolling olive groves and spectacular sunsets and on the other a mountain full of wildlife that occasionally peers over the rocks to look at you. The silence is broken by goat bells and the sun is divine. We can’t recommend this place highly enough. Whether you’re looking for a break or touring Andalucia you are as far – or as near – to everything as you need to be. Emma and Dave are perfect hosts, welcoming and helpful but not intrusive. Their local tips were great and they’re around the place if you have questions or need assistance. The accommodation itself is stylish and ideal. The welcome pack was great and the local area guide (with phrasebook) was a nice touch. A fully equipped kitchen, full bathroom and 3 beds (comfortable double and two singles) in 2 bedrooms. ” I stayed for a week with my wife and two daughters. Firstly… what an amazing location, mountains rising up behind and majestic views of olive groves and hills to the front.There’s a quiet lane at the front where we enjoyed walks to the ‘100 pipes’ and beyond, often seeing deer scampering over the rocks. The pool area is great for sunbathing and generally ‘chilling out’, our girls loved their evening swims as the sun went down. The terrace above the pool was so peaceful once the swimming finished, enjoying a glass of red wine as the sun set over the distant hills was sublime. The surrounding area has so much to offer too, Granada is within easy reach, we enjoyed the town of Archidona with it’s fantastic plaza and great restaurants. We also ventured up to the reservoir at Iznajar, great for beach activities, pedalos/kayaks etc, as well as fantastic scenery. On our last day we spent a few hours in Nerja to visit the shops, it’s only just over an hour away and an easy drive. All in all we can’t recommend this place enough, great for peaceful days and evenings, with the potential to explore further afield. Not forgetting the hosts Dave and Emma, they couldn’t have been nicer, always helpful and really made us feel that the place was ours for the week. “From start to finish, my family and I had a superb time. The property was clean, tastefully decorated and cool in the heat. The pool was a joy for us all, particularly the children. The views are stunning. Set into the mountain, we marvelled at the scenery all around, which culminated each day in absolutely glorious sunsets. The track/road running up to the property gets about five cars passing per day, which allowed us to fully unwind and enjoy the birds and wildlife in the area. We can’t speak highly enough of the place. My youngest daughter refused to leave the pool when it was time to head to the airport, which in spirit was a sentiment we all agreed with. We will definitely be back as it feels impossible to tire of the relaxing and recharging atmosphere, and there is so much to do and see in the area you can be guaranteed of a new experience each time. “You won’t want to leave…
In fact I’m still adjusting to the fact that we don’t live there permanently. I fell in love with it there. I’m considering renting it again and just refusing to leave! We went with our 8 and 10yr olds and our primary aim was relaxation and family time. We were only there Sunday ’til Friday but seemed to fit a lot into the break while also spending a good amount of time lolling around and watching our kids mess about in the pool…Emma and Dave know how to look after you while also making you feel like you’re the only people around. They’ve got great taste and the whole operation is both classy and quirky. They’re laid back, but run the place with meticulous care. They’re lovely people. This rental would suit anyone: romantic weekend, family with young children or teenagers, group of friends, professional gathering etc. We will definitely be back: we really loved our first visit to Spain and can explore so much of the country either on the way to these apartments, or indeed from them.”Sarah B., Hertfordshire, UK
